Christmas can be a super busy season. Buying presents. Going to Christmas gatherings. Sorting Christmas & Boxing Day celebrations. For some, it’s the best time of the year filled with joy and wonder. For others, the Christmas season produces anxiety due to complicated relational dynamics, missing family members or other reasons.
Pause & spend some time in the Founders Prayer Room over the Advent season. Reflect on Jesus’ coming using the prayer activities provided by 24-7 Prayer & the Guildford Prayer Room team.
Book slots between 1st – 24th December via this 24-7 Prayer sign up sheet.

What is a Prayer Room?
“A 24-7 Prayer room is a creative prayer space that enables a chain of unbroken prayer, bringing friends, communities and churches together to seek the presence of God.” We prepare our room in Founders around a theme(s) and plan prayer activities for people to engage with.
Why should I use the prayer room?
1. Getaway & focus: “Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, [Jesus] said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place.” – Mark 6:31&32
We can be so distracted & caught up with the busyness of life, and as He did the disciples the Lord invites us to step away with Him and spend time in His presence. Going to a physical space helps with that and that’s one of the reasons we offer the prayer room.
2. Connecting with the prayers of the church: Be encouraged by the prayers, words of encouragement and creativity of others. In the words of 24-7 Prayer “as the room begins to fill with people’s prayers and heart cries, it can reveal what God is doing in the lives of your group and helps with accountability as you pass the baton of 24-hour prayer.”
How do I use a prayer room?
It’s up to you! Below are some suggestions for individual or group prayer with family/friends/collective:
Ultimately, allow the Holy Spirit to lead your time.

A 40-minute morning global gathering on Zoom held Monday – Sunday on Zoom at 8am.
We would love for you to join by clicking this link. If you need the password to enter, email Natalie here.
What do Morning Prayers generally look like?
We use the P.R.A.Y structure:
PAUSE to be still before God;
REJOICE with singing, and reflect on a Bible passage;
ASK God to move in different situations, seeking His Will as we intercede;
YIELD to God, trusting in His character and in His will for our lives.
Our meetings are a safe environment to practice hearing from God, share what you sense the Holy Spirit wants to share through you, as well as mature in prayer, discernment and other spiritual giftings. Ultimately our prayer meetings are classrooms, and so we invite people to come prepared to be catalysed and stretched! Join screen on or screen off from anywhere in the world.

What do Morning Prayers generally look like?
We use the P.R.A.Y structure:
PAUSE to be still before God;
REJOICE with singing, and reflect on a Bible passage;
ASK God to move in different situations, seeking His Will as we intercede;

Ultimately, allow the Holy Spirit to lead your time.

A 40-minute morning global gathering on Zoom held Monday – Sunday on Zoom at 8am.
We would love for you to join by clicking this link. If you need the password to enter, email Natalie here.
What do Morning Prayers generally look like?
We use the P.R.A.Y structure:
PAUSE to be still before God;
REJOICE with singing, and reflect on a Bible passage;
ASK God to move in different situations, seeking His Will as we intercede;
